multiple shot PROBLEM

my matrix is shooting multiple shots per pull. Its almost as if the gun is going full auto or stuttering. It is NOT the trigger, as i have adjusted it properly. I also do not think its an electronic or solonid problem as when i pull the trigger when the gun is degassed it clicks only once per pull. Is there any mechanical issue that would be causing this?

it,s called trigger bounce the recoil (even though its very small) of the gun is causing it to shoot again.

i already stated that my trigger is adjusted properly.. its not trigger bounce.. and i don't see how a ball detente can cause a gun to stutter and fire multiple times for one pull.

It could be that the microswitch in the board is dirty or is going bad. Try getting some electronics cleaner and spray in on the switch...this happened with my old shocker and no and behold...after a few squirts, it worked flawlessly! (at least the electronics did...my guns pneumatic parts failed constantly)

i''ll restate, when i pull the trigger with no air the solenoid clicks only once.. When i pull the trigger with air, the gun stutters like its shooting in burst mode. It seems as if its trying to cycle multiple times for one pull mechanically, not electronically.. are there any o-rings that will go bad and cause the gun to do this? I"ve replaced the o-rings on the back end of the bolt, which helped for about 1000 shots, but then it started doing it again..

big kahuna, how can i tell which # chip i have?

maybe you're using the wrong sized o-rings or some are dirty.

i once had a similar problem with my bushy. some of the wires cracked.
it worked fine when it was degassed. but when i had air on it,
the kick jiggled the wires.

i can't think of how it would fire multiple shots if the problem occurs after the solenoid because it is just air, and air isn't that bouncy, unless there's an o-ring that prevents the bolt from going totally open.

yep sounds like trauma has it correct..
make your trigger alittle longer and try and see if that helps.. if it doesnt ,, then its electrical.

I have the same problem with my gun. When it is turned on and NOT aired up i can hear a single click when i pull the trigger. The
gun will go full auto on me when i hold the trigger down all the way when it is aired up. I have replaced the bolt, bat, and readjusted the trigger. I am getting a new board this week
because the slid switch broke and i have heard that the board will mess up. I have talked to greg from arrdvark about the problem and he said it could either be the board, batt, and trigger not adjusted correct.
