loc tite and telfon tape

there is both loctite and teflon tape on an air fitting i am trying to get off i tried heating it, but that isnt working, i should be getting a propane torch soon could i try that or would a vice work

I would say clamp the whatever the fitting is on into the vice then slowly heat the fitting and with pliers try to take it out

Brute ****ing strength man. I've broken red loctite like that (isn't that the strongest one?), and teflon tape shouldn't make it difficullt to remove. Get two wrenches, and not those autoadjusting craftsman **** from Sears, they scratch up your gear good. Either try it with two wrenches youtself, have you and a friend each take one wrench, or clamp the piece in a vice and go at it with one wrench. Wow, wrench is a weird word to type. Try it! wrench...
