Egg and Ion
I have an Egg and it wont fit in the feedneck. ( I have stock feedneck) I was wondering if u have to remove the first O-ring or all of them??? Or do i just jam it in there when all the O-rings are in the feedneck. Also when u put in the hopper do i just jam it in the feedneck or do i twistit in??
I already looked at stickies and searched so dont ask
Also this is kinda dumb question but to take out O-rings do i just tear them out??

Remove all the feednecks, twist it forth and back into it, then wrap 5-6 layers of electrical tape on it.

Try taking both upper orings off. I did this to my ion and it fits my revy and egg(both unsanded) nicely...1 oring also fits my sanded HALO perfectly.

No
to make it fit you will prolly have to simply take about half or more of the o rings in it- hah, i learned that from a guy on aim, who knows a ton bout ions

i had the same problem too. this is what u do. u take out the two top o rings. leave in the bottom, then u shave down the feedneck with some sandpaper for a while. maybe like 20 min. but when it gets hot, let the neck/sandpaper cool down then go again. after that, u hold the feedneck and twist the eggy in. thats what i have to do anyways...

Take the top o-ring in the feedneck out. To do this just use your finger and pull it out. Keep the bottom o-ring in and the eggy fits PERFECTLY inside.

I really wouldnt want to shave down my feedneck, just shell out the 30 some odd dollars for a good clamping feedneck instead of sanding.

If you rub the orings and outer part of the neck (of the hopper) with Dow 33 you can easily get a snug fit between a stock egg (no sanding) and stock feedneck (w/all orings), just spin the hopper clockwise as you insert it. It worked for me until I got my Q-lock
if that is still alittle tight, the best tool that I've found to remove orings (other than a oring removal tool ) is a dental pick....
hope this helps
