clicking solenoids

I've held maybe 4 bushmasters, ever. At the shop, I held/pulled the trigger on a normal bushy, and a sweet looking eclipse bushy. None of their solenoids clicked when the light flashed. I have an impulse, and my friend has a shocker. Our solenoids (and all smart parts solenoids) always click when we pull the trigger, gassed or not. The solenoids on my friends bushy never clicked when it wasn't gassed until a couple weeks ago. I was sitting around messing with his firing modes, and suddenly his solenoids started clicking. They clicked maybe 20-30 times, then stopped. Then a week later, they started clicking again. Now they click all the time. Is this good/bad? Is this just something bushy solenoids do? I just want to know if they need to be adjusted somehow or if he's slowly destroying them by letting them click. Thanks.

wow... strange.

I think he has a 4th generation bushy. He got it about 3 months ago. The funny thing is, when he got it, he was disappointed the solenoids didn't click like ours do. We would sit there with our guns...ours would click, his light would just flash... now he's all happy.

So...they all click? I guess he's just normal now. He'll be even more thrilled to find out his guns not committing hara-kiri.

mine started clicking a few days ago. I opened up the battery door to see what was going on. I put everything back together and it didn't click. How odd. I don't really think that anything bad is going to happen.

I've had the solinoid replaced in my Defiant. The first one did not click. I blew that one out (preset nitro) but the second one clicks... most of the time. Some times, it just doesn't feel like getting out of bed.

more than half my team uses bushmaster lcd's and every one clicks. i have never seen a bushmaster that didnt click. i would want mine not to. the solenoid will still be good after like infinity shots with the gun on. the solenoid will never wear out.
nothings wrong either way

hmm, he can't decode american semi slang either. so i'll put it in full english, aren't you, happy now? I really can't see why you are trying to flame me, because i have a 2002? So does ghost09, yet you don't give him any heat either. Very interesting.

my gun has clicks out the ying yang.....thats very strange that some silly-noids can click some time and not click the rest of the time (holding my chin and pondering about the secrets of the universe)

but mine has never not clicked ever since i gave it some juice with 9vts

have a nice day
