Question PT Xtreme Q

I heard of a little trick online to boost the velocity on my PT Xtreme [I can't get it to go over 200] by using a Spyder Spring Guide and a Spyder Spring with a few coils clipped. However, the Spring Guide doesn't fit into the velociy adjuster. Can someone help me and tell me how to raise the velocity on this thing? If you do, tell me how many shots you can usually get off a 12gram with it.

you can shave it down a little if its a small amount, or try it with no guide if worst comes to worst

You probably can do it by adding a spacer between the original spring and the velocity adjuster. Mine doesn't go above 220 fps so I added about a 1/4" piece of plastic there. I just did it tonight so I have yet to chrono it and find out if it works.
