help taking off the steel braid

i need help taking the steel braid off the reg. i got it off the asa, but it won't budge from the reg. is there a way to way it off b/c i freakin hit it with a hammer and still didn't come off, can someone help me please?

i looked through threads but couldn't find a solution, might of skipped since search doesn't work.

try heating it up with a hair dryer to loosen the loctite. then try taking it off while the reg is in a vise grip to make it easier.

i thought i didnt because the stock asa was made for steel braided line only

The stock ASA wa not necesarily made just for steel line, but more with a special connection. That way if you have to get a new one, you have to go thourgh HPS. It is a way of keeping the money in house.
