should thew tubing be flush with the back of the top hat? cuz im putting mine on right now and its not perfect

i'd recommend close to flush.

it doesnt have to be 100% flush but get it as close as you can. The best way to do it is to put the whole length of tubing on first then cut off the excess.

Red bolt kit is the same as the stock Image kit(the one with the mods on it in the pic)

With just the top hat mod (vinyl tubing), i got enough of an efficiency increase to make me happy. Fill to 3k, then used 3 pods and a hopper in a game and didn't experience any shoot-down. My tank was down to 1k afterward, though. But at least i know i can go that long off one fill.

Forgot to fill it for the next game but only went through a hopper & a pod and wasn't shooting strings. Didn't run out of air, though. I'm sure i would've experienced drop-off if i tried.

yeah I got the v1 kit too and now its time for me to mess around with the backplug and other pieces on the bolt kit with my lathe in the basement

I'm about to buy a Trauma Matrix. Will these mods work on the Trauma? I read that they have enlarged air chambers.

using only cold fills and within a 3 degree differnce in temp this is the stats of my modded bot stock bolt and evolve bolt

Stock
4.25 turns out lpr, 185 psi hyper reg,292 fps 68cc 4500 air AMERICA TANK
I GOT ONE HOPPER AND 3 PODSOR FOR YOU ALL WHO DONT DO MATH THAT IS
ABOUT 630 SHOTS

MODDED
3.5 TURNS OUT ON LPR, 180 PSI, 294 FPS 68 4500 AIR AMERICA THANK
I GOT ONE HOPPER AND 4.3 PODS OR 810 SHOTS

EVOLVE
2.5 TURNS OUT LPR 185 PSI 288 FPS 68 4500 AIR AMERICA TANK
I GOT ONE HOPPER AND 23 BALLS SHORT OF 6 PODS OR 1057 BALLS

NOW THERE MORE SHOTS IN THE TANKS WHEN COMPLETE BUT I STOPED THE TYEST WHEN THE MARKER EXPERIANCED 25 FPS DROPOFF FOR THE FIRST TIME.
I WOULD SAY THERE WERE PROBABLY 50 TO 80 MORE SHOTS IN THE TANK WHEN I CONCLUDED THE TEST BUT IF IT DROPING OFF OR NOT CONSISTANT THEN IT IS NOT COUNTED AS A SHOT TO ME.

Last time I went out to play I was playing psp with a team the week before chitown psp event and I got the following results...

I shot about 3280 (1 case and a half + 2 pods) rounds in 5500 psi (1) 4500 fill and (1) 1k fill used from the next time I filled up)

This is from the gold evolve v1 kit and the orings were fairly new and I havent really had a chance to really tune the orings to get the best I think I can get out of the bolt kit.

I was using the stock settings on my m6 and was shooting about 290fps +/- around 3-4. This was because my new aka regs werent shipped to me yet. Now that I have screwd around with some of the orings I will try it again soon and see if I get any better results with the new regs and a different oring combo..
