I would say just about everything in paintball is way over priced, but over rated I would say angels have always been over rated. For a much cheaper price, you can end up with a much nicer gun, maybe not nicer LOOKING but in my opinion better performing. Angels are very nice guns, don't get me wrong. But pretty much any electro over $400 shoots just as well, which is one HELL of a discount off of an angel.

Yeah Angels are WAY overpriced, I sure as heck wouldnt buy one before gettin a completely tricked out Bushy or Imp... or Matrix.

Excaliburs are pretty overpriced too.. And they dont even look that great.

Paintball pants are overpriced IMO and some jersies.. some masks are overpriced.

you get what you pay for. you pay for a matrix, you get 12 o-rings in your bolt and lots of o-ring rebuild kits. an impy doesn't feel like a solid gun compared to an angel, too. no clue about a bushmaster, but i'm sure the angel passes it up.

yes, i'm a fanboy, because i own an angel, but i used to be like that. talk them down, say they're overpriced and that i'd buy different guns. but now i see the light.

but one of the most overrated with newer players is the tippmann flatline.

10" barrels and 45/45 tanks are all of the hype around here. Also having the best gun out on the field is one thing. Little kids are going around and buying angels to play recball.

yea, alot of that cost of an angel is the customs fee. someone told me it was over $200 to ship the gun from Europe to the States, because of customs.

PAINT----how much does a shell and a little paint actually cost to make not much especialy w/ the ways they can do it now a days this is an obvious rip, ANGELS----suck although you can make them great just costs an extra hundred bucks.

my opinion i don't like angels because of the "kick" wich is lots more than my imp w/ lpr mod.

It would make me smile that shipping Angels to the U.S bumps up the price, but you guys still get them cheaper than we do in England...

SP= ****TY CS. If anything goes wrong with you Imp, you need to send it to your local shop or someone else, because SP will screw you over. Plus, all major, and many minor, tournies have WDP techs that ill repair/replace/fix your Angel for free. Also, at any decent field you are almost garunteed to have at least 1 person who knows enough about Angels to help you IF they break. I also believe that if you send your Impulse to SP you have to strip it of any aftermarket parts.

Imppies have many problems and I have seen many go down at our field. Maybe just a run of bad luck or ALOT of user error, but I think SP went for quantity over quality on the Imp to make it a mid-level electros. The trigger pull is CRAP and it chops like mad without the Vision, and a Vision imp runs about $500-$600. Angels also don't need alot of maintanance and are build like a rock.

Guns. Slingshots=cheaper and almost the same performance. Why pay 1000 dollars to get something that shoots for you. Geez, think people.

Field paint, gosh I hate paying the price for field paint. Although it is always a decent brand, they jack up the price just to make a profit. I know they have to make their money somehow or another, but its hard for me to dish out $65 bucks for a case of paint plus a field fee for air every time I go out to play.

you ARE a noobie arnt u....

ya, the trigger pull on an imp is adjustable..

dont like it? you can get a werm frame which is an angel frame with different slots and no LCD screen. wow, fixed that problem

--------

my impulse only chopped once, cause i forgot to put on the revy. d'oh

---------

the only maitnence my gun ever needs is greasing the hammer and bolt. and i enjoy working on guns. but that isnt even work.

step down, it looks like you got your panties in a ball. Your just mad cause A) you own a spyder and wasted 500 dollars on it when u coulda got a cocker, imp, bushy etc. or B) you have a 1000+ gun and are pissed cause you have to have the best gun at your field when theoretically you dont. BTW, you can thank SP for your angel, they were the first ones to come up with electropneumatic guns. you basically waste 500 on modes and other BS. ya, angels are grear. my impulse is great. i woulda bought an angel if it was worth it. was it to me? no. i have a freak, nitro, all the good stuff on my imp, and it performs better than a stock angel. for the same price. so get down off your high horse pal. you lose and you suck

i can agree with field paint and angels, at my damn field its $95 dollars for a case of blaze, aint that some sh*t. Angels i must say are beatiful guns, but some can cost almost 2 grand, damn you can get a f*cking used car.

The search button is overrated (or so it seems)...

Let's see...most Smart Parts stuff (with the exception of the max-flo), Dye Stuff (except barrels), a lot of Warped Sportz stuff, and anything with a pro's name on it.
