I had the glorious pleasure of shooting a 2k2 Timmy yesterday and it was insanely accurate with a TI boomy. Then i opened up with it and the pattern was very tight. Tonight i will have nightmare of people with 2k2's hunting me down

I shot a Vern1's 2k2 yesterday while out playing...it's that beautiful Fade he has pics of up here. The pictures do not do it justice.

I thought my classic was accurate with a good paint barrel match, that 2k2 with the stock barrel was simply "f"-ing amazing. He had the trigger set up nicely with a SOB in it, and all it wanted to do was be let loose in your hands. Before you knew it, a string of 20 or so where on their way right on target, right where I wanted them to go. I was awe struck with it. My friend, who has a nice cocker thats pretty darn accurate, tried out the 2k2 as well. He is now going to buy a 2k2. He would have bought one right there if he could have. As he handed back the gun "now that I just test drove the sweetest porsche, time to go home with my pinto"

Don't get me wrong, I love my classic with the clamshell, but it can't look at it the same way after shooting that 2k2.

From what I was told, it is because the body is milled from billet aluminum, instead of made from extruded aluminum. The honing and tolerances of the body are very tight. I am sure that delrin plays a hand in it as well, since you have orings, there is no blow-back that makes it back past the bolt like the regular delrin bolts.

Whatever the reason(s), I can honestly say in my test run of it, it could see the difference. It was absolutely beautiful and absolutely amazing.

can someone who has the ability do a test for us?
maybe set up a target from 75 feet away and shoot a sks and a gz and tell us which is really more accurate or are they relatively the same?

Vern1 helped look for balloons
Greetings,
I actually had a chance to use the 2K2 in some games today.
I was shooting blaze with a proper paint matched 12" CP two piece.
I have shot just about everything out there including a ton of heavily modded GZs and Classics and the 2K2 wins hands down.
We were playing on a 10 man hyperball field and I was shooting across the field and consistently putting paint thru a 15" square window in a backer bunker from about 200 feet!
If you get a chance, test it yourself and see - I think you will be both pleased and amazed.
The other folks I have talked to who have shot one say the same thing.

We put a HALO B on it for a while and it was scarey fast and still very accurate.

GOOD JOB BOB!

So billet aluminum really makes a huge accuracy difference over the extruded aluminum.

Well, I have a Classic Intimidator with Bob's derlin bolt with the venturi and regular insert. When I look from the back of the Intimidator to a light source, there is a small line of light the comes through inbetween the bolt and body. This could be not as good as a seal because it doesn't have the o-rings and may have some blow-back. That might be why there is a difference in accuracy.
btw, Does Custom Products still make the Intimidator barrels for Bob Long?
