I think if you have that kind of money to spend, the Dragon (if you can get one) is the way to go. What other recommendation do you think you'd get in a Timmy forum?

Actually, if you're set on a cocker, I think there are better ones to get for your money. They DO look sweet, though.

PLEASE qualify statements like that. It makes you sound like another internet sheep that is spreading what he reads because he thinks its truth. Set up and shot by the right hands the dyes shoot like a bandit.

true that with any cocker, but buying a freeflow or evo they are perfect out of the box. Dyes are nice, just not the best

"Not the best" and "crap" are two totally different statements though. The dyes do have a bad tendency to come from the factory horribly timed. That doesnt mean they are bad guns, or have bad parts, just means that Dye doesnt have enough qualified cocker techs. I suppose they could go the route of propaintball and make you wait for a month or two when you order one? With the adjustability of the dye hinge and three way you would probably screw the timing by getting your trigger where you want it anyway, so they probably have the attitude of why bother.

you are comparing apples and oranges, meaning they are two different guns, first question is do you prefer the feel of the electronic trigger or the mechanical trigger?wright there is the most important question to answer for yourself, that will determine which marker would be better for you, since i went from a cocker to the electronic trigger i have no interest in the mechanical trigger.but you may feel different but first answer that question then if you prefer the electronic or mechanical trigger find the mech triggered guns or the electric trigger guns and compare them to each other not the apple against the orange.

Depends on what you like, I love cockers and the Ultralite is supposidly a pretty good gun so Id probably go with that between the two. Plus I have a slower trigger finger and can't shoot that fast with an electro anyways.

But if I were going to get an electro, it would be a Viking or some form of intimidator heh.
