I was reminded this week that the Ricin suspect was likely framed by information about himself that he made public on face book and other social media.
I was reminded that my Nephew who has a VERY high security clearance in Military Intelligence does not use ANY social media.
My brother in law is an High School Principal who also does not use ANY social media.
My uncle has a security clearance with his employer. Uses no social media.
My sister works for the Federal Gov. She is very careful with what personal information she puts on the internet.
This week the stock market crashed from AP being hacked and publishing a false report.
Another nephew works for cyber security for his employer. He is VERY careful not to disclose personal information on social media because he KNOWS how insecure the internet is.
Reports regularly about E mails and social media hacked on numerous occasions.
Well, I'm not a celebrity, terrorist, rich, media worthy in any way. No enemies I know of. Just like most of you here.
But think about what you post... How it could be used to harm you.
Your ex still know your passwords? Your soc security number? Think about it...
