Sure, both are cool. But from time to time, try to take a subject that looks boring as hell and find a new angle that makes it more interesting. It's a good exercise in composition and such. Other than subjects they look pretty good

The bee makes it cooler. I like how I got the shutter speed just right. It had just rained also. I'm gonna go out and take some more. I got attacked by a bug the size of a freaking ping pong ball getting the mail. Maybe I'll find it and "shoot" it.

Anyway, I like the composition on the fan, it just works (and reminds me of mine which is always a smartish thing to do if you want my praise

) the skyscape is cool though.
