So Rich Telford says that XSV could come back in 2016 but doesnt say how or why that is. Any info about the teams future?

Pretty much what everyone says when they shut down long standing organizations. Proboly based on a lot of what ifs with new sponsors.

It's all an issue of money. It takes roughly $100,000 to run a professional PSP team each season - it is no easy task to ask people and/or sponsors to pick up that tab. Then you have to have the right players to make the team successful on the field to continue getting that support year after year.
Players are tough because you need so many of them on the same page - paintball does not pay bills so levels of commitment to a paintball team waver. The teams that are consistently at the top pay their players to be able to focus on paintball. Or the sponsor employs the majority of the team in the industry. With XSV only two of them were "making a living" off of paintball. The rest of the team all had other jobs - everything from working in restaurants to working construction.

My point is XSV has to be rebuilt to be sustainable - the money, field performance and commitment of the players all has to coincide. I believe that Rich is trying to find all of those things and put together a winning team.
