Detents and Threading

Hey All,
Someone told me that Rebel Extreme ball detents are the same as the Spyders would anyone know? Also where I can get some that will fit the Extreme if not?

AND

I have a Pyscho Ballistics 8-Core Expansion Chamber and I set it up with a Macroline kit. Plastic tubing isn't really great and it leaks. I was going to use braided hosing but someone told me it won't work because the treading is different on an Extreme. Can anyone tell me if I can or cannot use steel braded hosing?

Please E-Mail me answers at DarkMagik9900@aol.com if you can please...

steel braided hoses have the same thread as macroline kits. they are both 1/8npt. as for the detents the cover is not the same but i think the detent itself is.

OK, your macro shouldn't be leaking...where is it leaking from? The metal attachments? Then you should teflon tape the threads. Or is it leaking where the tube attaches to the metal elbows. If so, make sure that you cut the macroline at 90*.
I probably won't check back in this thread so catch me on AIM or PM if you need more help

CAREFUL!
I, too, have an old-style Rebel extreme, and the adapters for the macroline hose are nonstandard! I bought a steel braided hose to replace it, for durability and was dismayed when I found out that I couldn't.
I emailed 32deg about it and got this response:
"Sorry, their are no adaptors available. You must eather [sic]replace both or use macro line and one normal fitting and one of your rebels fittings."
