No I'm going to try and keep it simple so for the first run the milling is going to be the same. There will be a few options probably trhings like ano/powdercoating colors/schemes, triggers, asa's/regs, feed necks and so on. As soon as I can get the milling tolerances from the mill I'll decide on a few milling schemes and let you guys choose....sorta....I have the final say of course. I also have some cool stuff planned. I just have to see what the prices will be on the materials. Here's a new sketch which fatty and I really really like.

Where you see the waives on the upper half of the body those are essentially the highest points on the gun. The milling will mill to the maximum depth between the ridges. It will esentially make something like a spinal chord(sp?). The waives meet at the very top of the gun forming a bunch of V's if you look down on it. From the side you will be able to see the points of the ridges. The lower half is semi cosmetic semi weight removal. What there are are semi rectangles which will follow the bottom of the marker and then cut up and under the air chamber. The rectangles are shaded to try and make that effect. I also have some slanted rectangles which are longer and slanted forward which give the gun more of an aggressive look. I'll post a picture with the slanted rectangles after this one. Tell me what you think about the "Spine" milling.

Hey, I think this would look nice

I would pay for this; however, I agree with what everyone has been saying, the designs on the bottom right where the battery is need to be changed and stay consistent with the other designs. By the way, ABOUT how much will you charge for a mill job like that??? Is powdercoating the matrix a good idea???how is the quality?

Yeah but fatal the milling on the air chamber is only on one side. The battery milling might not be such a good I dea with a lot of debris getting in and stuff. It deffinetly can't be good. I think I prefer my last two scetches the best. Probably the last two the most...Powdercoating a matrix would be like powdercoating any other gun. It will come out really nice. I'm going to talk with my miller and see what he says.

how do you guys think the matrix would look in the "doo-doo brown" color??? I assume sin could do that... those of you not familiar to what I am referring to, check out www.warpedsportz.com and look at the bronze looking dark angel. I love that color! its very unique

what do you guys think of that?
by the way, that last milling pic i posted.. i love that Brando!

expanind the milling. Adrenalin Buys raw uncut bodies from WDp and mills the hell out of them and it expands there guns options. Why not do the same. For an ACE just jack up the back and mill a compartment to hold it. A lArger back means maybe an led and on off.. And if you hieghtened the body you could achieve a better openeing look in the body. WIth an uncut body the possibilities are exponential.

That milling you guys can have done on the buttom part of the matrix cause thats where most the meat is, you could slap more metal on the gun but would you want your matrixx to weigh more not me I find the matrix some what heavy already.

talk to WhiteWolf and see if there is enough metal on a matrix
to get him to do the RIPPER milling on them. that would rock!

Pking911... we have asked him, supposedly the matrix is too thin, there isnt enough tolerance for ripper milling.....

Brando is having his miller test this however, i think brando's last idea (in my last post) is killer.... i think it would look sweet on a matrix, hell ANY milling would look sweet [besides Shocktech]

what do you guys think of a doo-doo brown matrix?

i think DOO DOO BROWN is over used and talked up way to much myself, although useing it in a vertical fade to something like peweter or steel blue would not look bad at all, and would compliment the latest milling verry nicely...plus the gun is so tall it is one of the only guns you can even think of doing a vertical fade on and it would look sweet....yea i realy want to get my matrix done up in a vertical fade

As A option I would like to see a side feed breach. Not like the one on warpig with the big feed sticking out. It should be like just a hole in the side of the breach on the side so a warpfeed can go in. Think of how low profile and slick that would be. Also I would like to see A trigger like the triggernomics triggers. Maybe not as extreme of some of them but just as good.

and I really like the milling schemes being posted.

ok,so im not a matrix owner, and i know a little more about em than a chipmunk does, but hey..IMHO youve got too much stuff going on in the milling..the last one is the nicest, but the few lines nearest the breech are just too much..i dont remember who, in this post, but someone said to keep it simple, because they sell best.Thats 100% true, and youre trying to accomplish too much.Uusally , form experience, the best selling and looking milling its a straight milling,or symmetrical milling that keeps its theme throughout the marker.Every 3 inches or so, youve got a new theme.Try to keep it simpler. But like I said, thats my opinion, and to each his own.BTW, if youre thinking of a thunderstruck anno, youd better start saving up, because last I heard from PK, theyre 900$.Personally , I think a nice lava lamp anno, or a black -red-black fade with reverse fade splash might be nice.Laterz.
