Er...Some photo's(-graphy sounds pretentious)
Yeah I'm taking photography for my a-levels, and I managed to get some bits and pieces off the mac and onto my pc. Just wondered what you thought, yes I know theres scratches and whatnot but I'm not very good at developing film

I'm no critic, but I think you need to pull back a little on the subjects. (So you can see the whole thing.)

first and last are decent, but the second one is out of focus and the third one just lacks composition

Yes I agree the 3RD one is definitely the weakest, I should've swopped it for a different shot. However, the streetlight is out of focus on the second one, and as I had little light I had to try and use as much aperture as possible, I could only get a focus on the building behind

No way. If he was using a 4x5 view camera, then maybe, but using the format that he is using, he SHOULD be getting closer to really focus on abstracting the elements and creating a design based photograph. If he backed up, then the photo would be just a picture of a building, and not talk about the spacial relationships of the negative space the sky creates with the line and form of the buildings.
Good work Tom!!!

Thanks Mike, I was really starting to look more at the composition in my viewfinder than just random jazz, and thats what I;m trying to develop.
