10 Man is definitely a much different game than the traditional, and arguably less intense 5-man format.

Any thoughts on the differences in strategy a team must take when playing 10?
so pbnation....what do you guys think?

I really dont see how it could be less intense the game is increasing the amount of people. This means more back players raining fire, more front players to worry about running around and mid players in there in case you some how were able to handle the extra players. The field would be bigger and with the more people, communication will be harder. I think 10 man would be harder.

10 man games are very intense on the break because you have four or so back players just ripping into the opposing end hoping players will run into their walls of paint. At times, on smaller fields, opposing players will take the same bunkers, bring about some interesting situations and early bunkering. in 5 man games the break is very boring, you have two or so backman who are laying down paint and get maybe one man out, the front men are very concervitive because they don't have guys to spare like in 10 man, the game moves slowly, but ends quickly with a skiled bunkering.

I think 5 man is more tactical where 10 man is more just controlled chaos, In 5 man there are less risky moves, but even though 5 man (in my mind) has better players with more skill, 10 man is more entertaining and interesting to an unskilled eye.
