Luxe or ego

Is it worth trading my ego 11 , limited edition two toned purple for a luxe? is there that great of a difference ?

I have had an Luxe 1.0 and i know there is not a huge change from the 2.0.
What perks are there mainly?

Not to troll but the 2 tone isn't a limited edition you can get them from ans gear , but to answer your question it depends on the upgrades , wear and stuff like that so if you can provide a little more information Id be glad to help you out

Like I do not want another luxe 1.0 just not worth my ego but the aspect of a Luxembourg is tempting again. What is a ego worth trading for?

Ask yourself why Ego11's came out last year, but they barely sell for $650 now, yet Luxe 1.0's (came out in 2008) still go for $700+.
Shoot both guns side by side, and the one who owns the Ego11 will have buyer's remorse.

People always, always bring up luxe reliability issues... ask Houston Heat how they did under extreme weather conditions.
Hell... ask any original Dynasty player, Todd Martinez, Tim Montressor, oldschool pro off the record what their favorite marker is, and they'll say Luxe.

Any responsible owner who actually reads the manual and spends 15minutes learning proper maintenance will have a reliable marker.

I have actually heard with my own ears, a few other heavily sponsored pro players who never had a DLX sponsorship say that if they could have any gun in a one on one situation, they would choose the luxe.

IMO, if you want a single tube spool marker, Luxe is the best one around. If you want a stacked tube poppet, you want an Ego11 or G6R. What kind of gun do you want.

Luxe is gunna shoot better than any gun but the maintenance is much simpler on your ego

I went from a CSL to a 2.0. I'll never shoot anything but a Luxe again if I can help it. My CSL was buttery, but my Luxe is smoother and maintenance is way easier. All you need is a freak bore kit and you're set. The pooty parts, triggers, boards, etc are "nice-to-have's" but it shoots great out of the box. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

So true. If I wasn't an Dye/NT guy I would continue to shoot a luxe over everything else I've shot. I was at a clinic with LJ from Ironman. When asked what his favorite gun was he said "I miss my Dynasty Luxe". That was his favorite marker and there are plenty of reason's why Luxes have held their value better than most other guns.

There is nothing wrong with the Ego11 or any other high end but the Luxe is an outstanding marker with the best ergonomics around. Once most folks shoot a Luxe, they don't want to shoot much else...

i.m.o the DM12 is one of the most top heavy markers on the market. Luxe feels lighter to me

Ive shoot many poppets and loots of spoolies and i went on buying a Luxe 1,0 and upgraded it with the LP can of the 2,0 and it shoots as good as my crome2.
Easy on paint and more efficiency of the 68/45.
So now my Q is which will be my 1:st and 2:nd gun........
LUXE and Crome2 in just that order.
The thing with luxe is that ist so smooth and the feel of it is awesome.
I would have got the luxe wayyyyy before any other Eclipse marker.
