I have a a5 with a electric trigger. Can I take the electric trigger out of the a5 and put it in a 98 custom pro?

I dont believe so. The A5 electric grips are made specifically for the A5.

No, and you neither can fit the internals of the egrip to the 98s trigger frame

You might be able to get away with it. But then whats the point? You could just buy a new kit instead of swapping parts. You can find kits for around what, $40?

The only problem is that I think the rod is to short and one of my micro switch wires came unsoldered when I moved it around to position it into the custom pro. The reason I am swaping the electrics out of the A5 and putting them into the custom pro is that I am turning the A5 into a barrett sniper rifle and the custom pro is going to be my sons/spotter. Figured one of use needed somehthing with a decent fire rate just like a real sniper crew so we can hold off any advances towards us while we egress the hot area.

Yeah maybe could get away with switching rods.. But I'd still let a Pro Shop look at it, and tell you what you could do, they should know if you could just switch the rods.

I'll try an give tippmann a call tomorrow and see if I can talk to one of there techs and see what they advise.
