eh i've only been in there once
at least they're all not going bat **** crazy.
it's just the pistols thing that drives me nuts. i don't recall ANYONE having that **** on them in there.
seriously? why do retired colonels always get to be the tv show/movie guys? **** they should hire the corporal that had boots on the ground for the gayness. he'll make sure it's right.
combat hospital in my world would consist of them getting fatter and fatter at the timmies and *****ing about haircuts to guys in the infantry that have blood all over them from their buddy that just lost a limb (i **** you not, my best friend had that happen to him in 06)

now they mostly carry pistols. not all but some do(mainly the corpsman, never the surgeons/docs). I never saw anyone ***** at a guy covered in their friends blood about a haircut or some stupid ****. we only cared about saving lives and tha'ts exactly how it should be. I still get freaked out when i here someones pager go off. I get a lump in my throat and my heart starts racing until my body finally realizes im not in the Role 3 anymore and im back stateside. Some **** you just dont get over.

EDIT: but combat hospital utterly makes me want to rage and go murk the producers of that show. its a ****ing insult for the most part. grant it i only watch like 2 episodes.

yeah i've only seen two or three that i've actually sat through
while we all know it's a gong show, it's just how it is when it comes to army dink ****.
it's just a ****ing hospital that happend to be in a combat zone. when i first heard of this project a few years back, i groaned knowing it was going to be full blown retarded.
i'm bothered at how friendly the seem to make the terps. now i dunno how it was in role 3, but those mother ****ers got nothing out of me or anyone else in my platoon unless we wanted and we kept them the **** away until needed.
yeah i mean it was 2006, and the first time canucks have been in a war zone since korea blah blah blah. i personally despise most of our medical corps with a passion. they were all shades of ****ed up around us in the FOB and PB's.
i remember this one usless piece of **** give me hell for not calling her corporal once. i looked at the petty officer beside her and went 'hey PO, i can't do this man, send me somewhere else'. anyways so yeah i hated her. out in mas'um ghar she was part of the little medical set up they had there. so the camp gets rocketed. they hit the ana/terp area. few of my buddies get down there, and see her trying to put an IV into an arm that isn't there anymore below the elbow.
or the medic that i watched shoot herself in the foot.
or the medics that tried to tell me to scan my arcs and be on the ready for anything (hard to explain, but they tried to jack me up for not being at the high ready or some ****)

makes you feel any better? i'm still a VERY angry driver. that's what i got from over there. i'm not blowning down the middle of the road as fast as i can anymore though thank ****.
two days after i got back i had a guy on my back bumper in a f-150 he was so close i couldn't see the ford emblem in my rear view mirror. so i slam the brakes and drop it to right speed limit. guys still there
eventually it opens up to two lanes a bit up the road at a stop light. i park the car, get out and proceed to rip him a new ******* about how only seven days ago if you were that close to me, i'd of shot you in the ****ing face and slept well at night. he was white after i was done ripping him a new ******* for that.
karma got me later in the night and made me see one of those burning school fireworks, as an ied though. **** that sucked

I actually enjoyed the medical canucks I worked with, but it was also 2011 so im sure things had changed and they got their **** together.

I still find it humorous how people in my career field do not want to deploy, try to get out of it, end up deploying and being useless ****s. yet there are people like me who want to go back yet I can't because of all this blue line ****. Air Force is stupid like that for some reason yet if I was in the Army I would have gotten my wish in a heartbeat.

There are only a few Air force personal that I respect for that reason. If you don't contribute to the killing of bad guys or saving your brothers in arms, then whats the point? Unless you're taking bad *** photos up people doing it, of course.

I respect most of the people in the mil forum, without it, I probably would have never seen how the other branches contribute to the fight, or don't for that matter.

hot **** medics in the CF are far and few between my man
we got sent their 'studs' being we rock maroon berets. i swear i think we had a new medic every six weeks because they couldn't hack our level.
there's alot of junk that i've seen. then again, there was alot of junk even in the infantry
