No problem. I'm happy to help where I can. I've been doing this for a long time.

As for plugging screw holes. I have to agree with xsvdynastypballa here. At no point have I ever plugged screw holes in any part that I have anodized. Nor do I know of any anodizer that has ever done that. Barrel backs, when possible, always get plugged but screw hole don't. That would suck to do.

Problem is small claims doesn't make them pay you. Just tells them they have to pay you. Then you submit them to collections which they will take half of what they get. So it comes down to is it worth it in the end to waste my time and effort to possibly see half of what it is actually worth.

Companies are just shells for people to avoid personal liability. Money spent by the company eventually reduces the paychecks of its employees and shareholders.

If this company came to me with a small claims complaint in hand asking for me to defend it, I would charge a $5000 retainer and bill at $250-$300/hr on it. That's $5000 the owner would not be able to spend on other stuff.

Do you think the owner would rather give me $5000 or just send the customer $500 to cover the value of the parts?
