Getting about 5+ a loader out of a 3500 fill.

I bought a Luxe 2.0 off here a while back and when I first got it and started playing with it I was getting the average 7+ pods and a loader and since I put my new Ninja 77 on it I noticed that with a 3500 fill I was only getting about 5+ and a loader. The tank was brand new and still to this moment has all of it's shims in place. I've taken the gun apart and watched all the tech videos I can find on youtube and can't find out why I'm not getting more. This isn't the first luxe I've owned just thought I my have missed something. I did notice that whoever owned it before me broke off the head of the feather-touch screw while it was in the manifold, but I wouldn't think that this would cause any difference in how many pods I could get out of it. My dwell is at 12, training dwell is 4ms, first shot drop is 19ms, fsd timer 3. I live in Germany and the fill stations don't fill like they do in the U.S. they fill slowly so I can only get about 4100. My bore is 691, because the paint so different in size from bag to bag. Any info would help and if I have to send it to a tech who would I be able to send it to. Thanks

You should be getting a little more than that off a 77ci filled to 3500psi. Try changing the middle oring inside the can. If that doesn't fixt the problem, report back.

I have replaced that oring. When I tested it to see how much I could get I changed every oring I could get to and the gun has no leaks

I noticed that when I started running all HBNR (Green) Orings throughout my Can my efficiency got WAY better. Not sure if they are a little snugger or what.

Also remember that a 3500 Fill after sitting can drop 500-900 PSI when it cools down.

he said it's a slow fill so I wouldn't think the tank warms up a significant amount when filled

I just noticed that my bolt guide was an 8th of a turn from completely being tight. I wonder if that could be it

I just re-tested it with about 3400 in my tank and the same bore size and I got 6 3/4 of a pod. I noticed that my back cap was a little too loose or wiggly, or maybe they are just suppose to be like that. Never really paid any attention to it.

The position of the bolt guide could potentially cause efficiency problems. It controls the timing of the air being released down the barrel. I know the shocker guys use adjustable bolt guides to improve efficiency.

The current numbers sound right on.

For a 77 dura? I thought I could at least get about 10 out of that tank

^^^

Most likely you are losing a little efficiency by running a 691 back because most paint is smaller than that these days. With that said, 7ish pods is probably about right for a 77ci tank filled to 3400 psi. If you manage to fill that sucker up to ~4500psi you'll be getting those 10 pods.
