Official Splatman Paintball Park Thread

Went out there today. No one was there!

I hate to put this field down but everytime I go the airball field is never up only one ref. and there's no advertisement. They need people on there facebook page Promoting it. Have a ladies day where there field and air is free or have half off air and field fee something to get people out there wanting to play. But this place is dead they need to spend some money and maintenance and advertisement. IMO!

Yeah that's why I don't even risk going out there anymore, usually when I would show up I'd wait around til noon til people even started to play then it was 15-20 minutes in between games and then I would have to play against half rental half some what competitive teams. Just seems like there isn't much passion or pride in the ownership end of the field. I got nothing against the owners, I just don't feel like their field is where I want to spend my time and money.

Yeah I agree! I live close to the field 15-20mins away and it sucks because, I have nothing aganist the ownership either an I think they could make some serious money, if like you said they had the passion or pride in the ownership. The fields are really good just not properly maintain But I spend close to 70-80$ everytime I go out there and the airball field has only been up once seens I've been going up there. Also like you said I play against a bunch of rentals that complain that I play professional when I really just started back playing I just have alot of my old gear from when I use to play. Where have you been going to play? Also how do you like it there?

I play out of town, but I'm waiting for whils paintball, that's gonna be a good place the owner is a player and knows what players want. He is passionate about the sport and growth of it and I'm sure it will show in his ownership. It's just a shame splatman is the way it is, that field used to be sweet when docs was there.

Oh ok. Yeah I use to play when I was younger but just didn't stick with it. But now I'm looking to get back in it heavy just bought a Geo3 and a few other gear
Now just looking for a good place to play. Sad that splatman is like that.

When is whils suppose to open? Where is it going to be located?

Ohhh the Good ol days at first coast , I wonder if any field in jax can become what it use to be. Problem with jax is the players everyone is looking for a super cheap deal and I swear there are people yelling and screaming at each other every time after a point ... one of these days will just be a big brawl.

Pretty stoked on Whil's! looks like its gonna be run well! starting from the ground up! and it's only 10-15 minutes from westside/OP area unlike GTF, Splatman, and PBA being 45 minutes to an hour away!! It's gonna be nice having something so close!

Went to splat man today formerly know as first coast paintball park,had a great time,very nice place,Charlie has added a few more field and was great to me as always,had plenty of people to shoot,just a all around good field,will be back as soon as work lets me...
