Would that put any tension on the ball stack? I need tension on the stack I think cuz when I try to shoot off break with my vmax it doesnt feed fast enough to let me get a quick steady stream.

Never used one but everyone at my local field that I spoke with regretted buying it and we're looking forward to trying the spire.

In defense of their hopper choice, they wanted to try the newest thing over the rotor or z2. Now, most of them are buying the spire because it is the new thing on the block and it looks pretty well designed.

Myself, I prefer to stick with tried and true technology so I stick with empire products until new hoppers, like the rotor, spire, and vmax prove themselves and the "bugs@ are fixed.

OLD FEEDBACK!

Why do people do this wanna-be hk thing? I mean hk people dont even play paintball, they just whine and start drama while wearing the ugliest stuff. Seriously you find light blue and pink to be attractive colors for your parents 1500 dollar investment (your gun/marker)? If you want to whine keep it off the field and save it for the internet; O wait! THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU DO! Haha, if you don't play then don't whine.

Sell me your G6R (and Halo) upgrades/parts, because you wont get anything for them if you sell/trade them with the gun.

Its not going to have stack tension like a Rotor or Z2. Thats not how this system is designed.

With no stack tension, this does happen with loaders of this type. Before you set in the start box try holding the gun up, and hit the advance button once to make sure the neck is filled. Depending on where the paddles are you may get some rollback if you turn the gun upside down. Remember, this is a mechanically actuated system, so the star NEEDS to turn to start the impeller....

That type of system has its advantages too, like, less mechanical problems and NO JAMS! That is one thing I can really be amazed about with the V-Max, I dont use it all the time, but I always use ****ty paint, and the V-Max has never given me a SINGLE jam! I cant say that for any other loader, and I have almost ever loader that has come out since 2001. Its not necessarily my favorite loader but still, impressive.

I just sent mine back to Valken. I'm all about it. Its light, balanced, never jams, and has a low profile. Good concept, just can't feed what I need it too, or constantly for that matter. I hope Valken sends me something back that makes this happen.

Winter is the man. That's all I gotta say. He even called me from his cell, and sent me pics of how it was working.

I also have a better understanding of it all now. Don't ask me technical terms. I'm a grunt.

Huge thanks to Winter for sending the updated front clip my way. Looking forward to putting two cases worth of assorted paint through my Vmax this weekend at Training Day.

Nothing but correcting problems. I didn't add anything to the hopper. Only the servo motor gears.

I've also spent a few hours trying to figure out the parasitic drain. I think its in the sensor wheel board. With the batteries plugged in and the power off there is 5 volts(logic) feeding to the sensor from the main board. If it were simply straight wired then you would be seeing 18v at all hot terminals since the batteries are wired in series. Reading 5 volts means that the current is being regulated by a series of resistors prior to the sensor. This mean there is heat being transmitted through the resistors which means there is a guaranteed drain on the circuit.

I really do want to know about the ramping though.
