Question About Sweat Paint #2

I just bought some cases of paintball. They were on a deal so the guy said "The stuff is starting to sweat, not all but some".

I plan on playing this coming saturday ... is there any way I can slow down the sweating or anything? i bought a few cases and i want to use them to play woodsball.

The case is XO Chrome paintball so they're some good paint that runs 60-70$ online. not cheap whitebox

*#2 because I posted it in another forum but I think this forum is more suited for my question*

take everything out of the bags and wipe them down with a microfiber the day before. they will shoot straighter for sure if you remove the oil film they sweat out. id avoid putting them back in the same bags though

Silica packets, the kind that come in the box of brand new shoes. They are designed to absorb moisture and will keep the paint from sweating. The only company that currently includes them with their paint is Valken and it really helps keep the paint nice and fresh! You can buy them on eBay for fairly cheap.

So what bags should I put them in? PLastic bags you get at the supermarket or Ziploc bags?

I personally store all my paintballs in my basement with a dehumidifier. If that is not an option for you I would remove the balls out of there bags. Place some paper towels in the bags and then put the paintballs back into the bags. The papertowels will wick the moisture away and should keep the paintballs in a semi good condition until you can use them. I have done it in the past and it works very similar to the moisture packs seen packaged with the valken paint.

Those Valken packets are awesome, I always put them in my paintball caddy after I empty the bag into it.

The sweaty paint procedure is the same procedure as when you have a broken ball in the bag. Exchange it for a fresh bag if at all possible but when/since you can't do that dump the bags out into a towel and roll them around on it until dry. Store the paint in a caddy or gallon ziploc bags afterwards.

Would it be fine if I just leave the paint in the original bag without sweating it and just throw it in a fridge?

Don't refrigerate them because that will cause even bigger problems. Just leave them in the original bag with the sweat until you are ready to use them and then towel them off right before you do. Store the remaining paintballs in a new bag.

Yeah thats what I've been talking about with my friend. It sounds like a good plan. Can anyone support it? THUMBS or other people? Is it better to wait until the day before/on the current day to wipe off the paint rather than right now? I plan on playing this coming Saturday so yeah. And when I remove the sweat, do I just throw them back in the same bag or bring some Ziplocs with me when I get to the paintball field?

Wow. I just realized, you are having the exact same conversation in two different threads in two different areas, and getting the exact same answers in both! It's more than a double post, it's a double thread!https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3875198

the Dye i4 are small, try putting the sandana on, then make it go over the top of your ear, then try to put the mask on. Sounds tight in there,

big head??

You should be able to put sandana on first then mask my i4s fit over a sandana perfectly fine. It is thin mesh i dont see how it wouldnt fit over it.

Well I always put the sandana on first and then the mask. If it is too tight to fit over your head with the sandana then loosen the strap, at least to get it over the headwrap. If it is loose once you get it over then tighten it when its on your head.

I'm not sure if I've ever heard of a headwrap being too big to not allow the mask over it. hhmmmm

You put on the mask, then the headwrap over it with the designy part that has no velcro facing the back of the head.

Proceed to put the mesh over head and the front of the mask, then secure the velcro over the upper portion of the lens.

But really.

Headwrap, logo side on forehead, pull mesh over head, then velcro/tie the straps OVER the mesh in the back, then put mask on with strap lower than the tied end of the headwrap.
