with little funds your best shot is to bring a few chairs and lots of beer. Park next to a decent tailgate and offer beer for food. The tailgate is a communal thing; you must give to receive and you must make friends with them to get food.

so, it was pretty damn fun. i walked around getting booed and heckled by everyone, but it was in exchange for food and beer. by time i got into the game i was pretty well drunk. thankfully, considering beer inside was $8.50 a glass. **** thattt.

No one would really give you free food at Miami tailgates, I mean you can chill and talk with the people around you, but no one really just offers food. However we do often make Tacos which are not very common at the tailgate,. and the people next us often ask us for some, and in exchange we get ribs.

Since i posted this thread ive been going to like 2-3 games a year I've definitely learned some things over time that i wish i knew when i posted this thread.

Tailgating is definitely an art form and to do it right you need to be well prepared. Little things like bring an extra shirt to wear while you tailgate so you dont get BBQ sauce all over your jersey, wear shoes that wont **** your feet up walking around for 4 hours, be drunk before you get into the stadium so you dont have to pay a **** ton for beer, etc...

i dont wear one outside of going to a football game or watching one on TV. i would never wear a jersey as part of my wardrobe.
