So I'm having trouble syncing contacts from my dash in Windows mobile. It lets me get to the settings and everything, but it won't let me check the contacts:



Any ideas?

well to state the obvious. do you have a contacts file made? do you actually have any contacts? secondly, does the software sync whats already on your pc to the phone, or is it supposed to work both ways?


NINJA EDIT: oh ya, btw, get rid of vista.. seriously, go back to xp. ive got two copies of vista, but ultimate edition, and they both suck.. even my massive desktop crawls when running vista. yay for pix 501's firewalls and windows xp!
check your owners manual for more info. im not really knowledgable with the dash, sorry.

no offense by any means.. but your church was freakin stupid. if he doesnt text, and hes not getting emails to his phone, WHAT in the world, would they buy a blackberry for? he could have gotten along just fine with a razr!

if thats the case, then i dunno why u couldnt swap, but then again, since the church bought the phone, there may be tax and legal issues with "trading" the phone.

edit: is the opera mobile worth the 24 bucks over the internet explorer on the phone? i want to be able to check out myspace and stuff easily

he had slvr. he was having problems like he couldnt hear out of it well and people couldnt hear him. i think it was also time for an upgrade and i guess everyone got the same. i dont think there would be a problem really legally or that they would know about. only problem would be that the staff might not like it.

actually there are some tax problems that could creep up. id would seriously check with an attorny or an accountant before u do something like that.. could put your church in a bad position..

is it just me, or is opera mini suuuuuper glitchy? i got it on my blackberry pearl last night, and when it works it works great, but honestly every 3rd time i use it i either get an error message saying my internet connection failed, or some weird error message that automatically shuts the program down that says something about like an unexpected occurrence with java or something, its really annoying, anyone have any ideas on this? i wanna use opera, i prefer it much better over the cingular browser, but with all of these bugs idk if i can put up with it

mine does it soooooooooo much, its driving me ****ing crazy, but apart from that i like my pearl, i kinda wish i had gone for the curve though, but at the time when i got the pearl i thought i wouldnt want a full keyboard
