I didn't see many players continue playing after being shot, i seen alot of players calling them self out or running to a ref after being hit to ask if a shot broke.

alot of players returned lost and found items most would have just kept for them self. I was truly happy with this past weekend.

with the few small problems or issues there may have been I would say all in all this past weekend kicked some major @$$ and I was kinda sad to see it end.

Again, to all the players on PBN who came out to play this weekend THANK YOU. you made my first I.O.N working at skirmish a great one. I cant wait to Ref you guys again.

During the cease fire a kid from, I believe it was VA RUSH (GERMANS)
was helped off field and from what was said (I was on the side line watching) he had a real bad sprained ankle or poss fracture.

I want to thank the refs that were on the front-lines of the beach. There were several times that i was in the front of the action and was hit and as soon as I raised my hand, a ref was right next to me with a riot shield trying to ensure I wasn't hit again. (I heard a lot of paint hit those shields). I just wanted to say thanks.

Hey the refs were really great. I was glad to see them just about everywhere they were needed. Just a few more would have been amazing. I was very glad to see how extremely thorough the staff was at checking and rechecking for field paint I would just add that a bit more random on -field chrono checking would have been great as well. I came across 1 random chrono check the entire weekend.

Which reminds me, to the ref wearing a black/white mask and black/white jersey during the last beach assault Sat evening standing near the woods entrance. My bad. I was laying in the grass on the german side and could only see your mask pop up over a dune.. sorry 'bout that.

I was at German insertion point 95% of the weekend and frequently I saw refs just standing at insertion point asking to see everyones balls. Quite funny and since it was usually said in such a light hearted friendly matter no one seemed to have an issue.
Refs were great from what I saw, although it seemed as though very few knew what the Tank Rules were on Saturday. Some thought it was a 30 minute hold after being shot out some said 10 minutes, heck a few times I saw complete U-Turns and re-entry onto the field. That said I think all in all it was a great weekend and eveyone (well 99%) made sure things went off safely.

If you had seen someone grab it and pointed it out to a ref it might have been resolved, if you got knocked over,fell ect and dropped it and not able to find it thinking someone grabbed it it is still possible it can be on the field, the grass in the area of the beach is tall and gets trampled over alot of dropped items.

give a call to skirmish in a few days, they will be out on the fields cleaning and looking for lost items, if they find equipment,gear,phones,wallets ect ect they go in the lost and found.

hopefully it is found and returned.

yeah, i wasnt there last year unfortunately, but i did hear that something happend with marbles last year. I dont know if thats true or not.

I saw plenty of young kids out there too, could have hit one of them.
ruin someones gear, heck even crack someones head open if ya hit them right.
Cant play paintball safely and win....must be time to cheat.

Thankfully the refs are saying it wasnt true, I hope it isnt.

Cant wait to have this baby in October and get back in the field...watching from the safe zone, not nearly as fun as playing....

my head feels like queen alien because of all the knots i have

being in the front mogul on the beach really wasnt smart but ask the 1st 2 groups of allies off the boat closest to their insertion about that

Yeah, that one dude was a major pain in the @$$...lol..

seriously, that one dude?

the full auto thing was a small issue every now and then.. alot of the times the "full auto" was a response trigger or a speedball type gun being used by a person who just knew how to rock the trigger. anytime a player was found shooting hot (im not talking 283) they were checked again to make sure, if they were really shooting hot they watched as they walked off feild to get taken care of at the chrono stations. those that were really an issue were marked aswell as being sent off to re adjust.

there were a few but not nearly as many as I would have expected.

this guy was DEFINATLY shooting hot, i had my trigger on my DM4 goin pretty good, but he was either full auto or ramping, we're in the 200, he was laying down up by the allied base on the left-hand side, he hit my hand, sliced it open pretty good

2% out of 3500 ppl randomly inserting isnt that bad at all considering worst case scenarios

sorry you had to be on the wrong end of it but im sure ppl were on the wrong end of me walking my trigger down some 1s face or side

lol it was funny to hear frokm the americans close to the pentagon around 7pm yesterday say "some ******* general on our side sent us in this direction", about 15 of them got surrounded by about 40 germans so they all surrenderd.

my buddy who went allied was in that group who got surrounded

they go sent to take the end field and met up with the german line 1/2 way through

he got lit up too
