Odds are you CAN remove the barrel. It says it has cocker threads. So far only two variants are being advertised. The regular version with a 20" barrel and a 16" barrel labeled CQC...

$1000 base price but I'm worried accessories won't be included. The website says there are "optional front shrouds". So what does that mean exactly? If accuracy and distance are extreme then I'll probably pick it up regardless. I'm still unsure how it will feel to actual shoot it. The bolt looks really small and even with an adjustable stock, won't masks get in the way for using an optic?

After seeing those videos, I don't know. I think they need some pre-release testers. Like I said in the last post, the bolt looks too small and I still don't see how you could properly shoulder the marker when wearing a mask. I can definitely see this marker becoming the lord of picatinny rails though with that full rail shroud they mentioned.

Here's all the info I could find in case you don't want to watch the videos:

$1000 msrp with a September 1st release date
No bipod or scope included (Might be accessories available at purchase later)
Autococker thread with a copied J&J barrel clone standard
Bolt action or semi action (Don't know if both actions are available at purchase or sold separate)
Available propellants are remote line, 13ci tank in stock, and 9 or 12 gram CO2 cartridge
12 shot magazine, 6 shots on each side (Drum mag of unknown capacity in the works)
First strike compatible
Aluminum CNC body or high impact polymer (Black or green color)
8 to 10 pounds
Standard AR grip (Might mean you can change the grips for magpul or others)
Three different shrouds available (One is a full length quad rail)
1 year warranty

I'm sure more will come to light before the September 1st release date. You guys think it's worth it so far?

I'd say it looks more like the Remington MSR:



$1000 is incredibly steep. High quality for sure (small runs of CNC bodies are very expensive) but I think $1000 is a tough sell with the Tiberius guns already being first strike ready for half that price.
