azodin KP is a pretty good starter gun.

simple, yet upgradeable.
cheap.

plus they're a nice transition from most semi-auto markers (feel-wise), where as you phantom would kind of be a whole knew ball-game.

want to try stock class but i dont want to spend really anything testing if i like it or not... my friend made some PVC pipe to hold 11 paintballs with somewhat of a speedfeed on it so the balls dont come out but easy to reload... this setup doesnt fit on my gun (his is a cocker i have a KP) is it possible to do this with a feedneck? he said he only spent about 5 bucks making it so i thought if it doesnt work for me then 5 bucks isnt anything

Naw... threadlocker man! Just don't use the strong (usually red) stuff. Stick with blue.

Just getting into pump. Gettin an azodin KP for my bday next week. Hopper suggestions? I dont really want to run my Rotor on it. I was considering either the Extreme Rage 100 round loader or the Proto Primo.

Run whatever you want on it. Look into the 50rnd hoppers too, Winchesters or APP ones.

Or use the rotor...Garenteed shot every time.

run the rotor. its a total hoot to see peoples reactions. otherwise if you want to run fast and light get a small 50 rounder. winchesters with the lock lid mod are the best i've ever used. GXG pocket hoppers are ok but you will shake it ever few shots to get a consistent feed. head over to mcb and check out ant's work with a 100 round sportshot and a halo tsa. made a custom agitated mini hopper

Cheese-SL68s barrels are friction fit (there are no threads) below the front part of the body where the barrel goes in you will see a bolt that you loosen and the barrel will slide forward and out.

why do the range of cci phantoms go from $150 to close as $300?

Are they also a good beginner pump?

they have that range, because there are so many different options. In my mind yes a bare bone stock phantom is a good beginner gun that can be expanded to something else later on.
