Beginner questions

Hi guys!
So my background is that I have only played with rentals, and have a basic knowledge of paintball
Since I dont play paintball too often, but often enough to warrant getting a gun, I was looking into getting the Azodin Kaos pump.
I am confused as I don't know what hopper to get for it. I read that there are pump specific hoppers, and am not too sure what to get. One thing to note is that I live in Taiwan, so i am ordering from Ans-gear. Basically what I want to know is
1. Is the Azodin Kaos a good pump marker?
2. What hopper should I use?
3. All i need is the marker, a tank, a hopper and I will be good to go? (Minus mask, pods and paintballs of course)
Sorry if this info is found somewhere else, I apologize in advance.

Get a gravity feed (primo by proto supposedly works really good or the sport shot) you don't need anything fancy holds enough paint since you won't be shooting to much with pump....I'd invest in a good barrel kit down the road tho good luck and congrats on your future purchases

Would the TechT Azodin Hush Bolt System be good for it? What would be a good barrel upgrade for it? Also do I need a regulator?

That bolt I'm not sure never used it the guys in the azodin sub form may know better. Any barrel that has multiple sizers/ bore sizes will be better, I prefer the freak kit and deadly winds but these are pretty expensive, cp barrels are cheaper and good from what I hear and you can buy the backs as needed. You may want to consider upgrading your feedneck to a clamping version

Would this be a good shooping list? Is there anything I am missing? I want to order everything in one go because shipping is really expensive

You sure you want to start out with a pump? I mean, pump is great but it's not for everyone. I would recommend just getting the semi version of that marker and playing with that. Down the road, if you decide you want to try pump, you can throw a pump kit on it for not much cash at all.

Yes I would like to get it because I would not use it often, and I would like it to be reliable, and last a long time.

i have a suggestion for the pods.. go to pbmafia and get their 5/50 pack and some 50 rd pods from them..i suggest a sport shot hopper. they are great. i just need to get another pump again to use it or sell it.. for the barrel just pick up an eigen barrel you don't need a kit just the 2 barrels 679 and 684 you will be set

that looks like a great setup if you know you want to play pump. good start with a nice mask and tank at least. the tank will carry over well to any gun you buy later on.

if you know you really wanna play pump, you can easily find a pump cocker' for around $100-$150, or an empire traccer, and a few others used to save yourself a little cash.

i dont think you need that grease though. should be using oil on an azodin. swap it out for some extreme rage or eclipse oil. (literally the exact same thing)

I wouldn't worry about pods and pod pack. And try on that mask, they run a bit small. The azodin is a low end gun, I wouldn't sink too much into it, maybe a barrel(/kit).

As im ordering, I cannot try the Dye Mask on. What barrel kit should I buy if i want the most options with paint, as I dont know what size my local field sells? Should I get the Empire Apex 2 Autococker threaded 18" barrel? Will this barrel fit a wide variety of paintballs?

Barrel, jersey, pants, I'd suggest a beanie/headwrap, but other than that you're pretty much set. But in all honesty, I'd get some o-rings, and a allen key set. So helpful. Oh and you might want a caddy.

Everything I just named, is pretty much the optional stuff. All the stuff you have up there would easily you get you started (of course), but these are just little helpful things. =P

That's up to you. I personally just use a .680 critical 100g barrel. Based on what is available off of ansgear I'd reccomend a freak kit with all american front if you want a full kit, if single barrel suits you then get a .679 cp barrel. I prefer a 14 inch barrel but that's up to you.
