Not trying to call anyone a liar I've just seen a ton of Forces ridden a ton of days over the years and they have been more resilient than just about anything else. If you ever run into trouble Union customer support is excellent too.
The only Burton binding I've seen fail is the Diode which is because of poor execution of the carbon fiber design and they still warrantee those things no questions asked. Everything else in their line is fine in my experience, which include a lot of 10 below pre-windchill days either on or around Burton bindings. imo composites can achieve the same level of ruggedness as something made primarily of metal as long as it's done right, but I admit I've never ridden B bindings day in and day out in AK
