I live on Fort Rucker and the one here is ok if you're a woodsballer. There was No Retreat in Ozark, but they either shut down or are remodeling the speedball field because every time I drive by there, the place is kinda dead-looking, all the netting is half-torn down, and there are no airball bunkers set up like there were. Dothan Survival Games is a good place with a really competent staff and some great fields. They charge a little bit more for air than most places though.

Yeah I live here. THere's not much to do though, unless you wanna go to PC (panama city). I forgot to say that Panhandle Paintball is in PC as well. but I've never been there.

Well the thing is at Fort Rucker: BYOR. Bring your own ref. Most guys that play out here have a large degree of integrity and when they get elimmed play it fair. We don't usually worry about head shots or anything because we try to aim for the body. Paint: The norm, $5 for a hundred balls. Wal-Mart (Enterprise) here sells Draxxus Dusk balls and RPS SuperSwirl balls. Air: CO2 only, $3 for a 14 oz, $4 for a 20. They're too cheap for N2.

One question though: What kinda gun you got? If you got a Tim, Cocker, or anything else high end, these guys (most everyone is a renter) will hate you when they get hammered. And don't let them test fire your gun without you watching, learned that the hard way.

Are you in the army there? or are you a family member of an active duty person? Is there anything fun to do for a family in the area or is it just boring?

My stepdad is in the army. Family-wise, it's quite boring.

I used to live at Ft. Rucker, my old man is active duty, and we rotated out of there pretty often (I was actually born there back in 1977 )... I haven't been back in a while, the paintball field was just getting set up when I left for college. I live down in Tallahassee now, we've got a couple fields around town, Dothan Survival Games is probably your best bet for a "nice" field around there... but I agree with Big P, it can be a little pricey. Panhandle down in PC is a decent place to play, their prices aren't bad, and the owner is a good guy. If you kids want to meet up somewhere to play sometime, let me know... playing with the same folks all the time gets boring!
