Really liked my disruptive barrel with my g6r. Was so quiet. I've never tried with a luxe though. The stock barrel is good enough for me. Any other barrel also takes away from the looks

Hey Pres, I color swapped my red for slime green whenever you get time to update the first post. Unfortunately in the swap I cannot get my blue barrel front to thread into the green barrel back. Any suggestions on whats going on?

The guy I traded with had no problems with it before he shipped and has no issues threading his front into the red back I sent him. I looked at the threads on both the front and the back and neither have large damage. My front looks to have some anno wear but no bends or dents or anything.

check your oring on the barrel maybe try lubing it a little or going down a size ive had this issue with some other barrels

I havent tried disruptive but i have been using my sly dual carbon barrel lately because the smallest freak insert i have right now is the 89 and my sly has a 686 back not sure if its any quieter but it is lighter for sure

I have a dual carbon pro merc.never put it on my luxe, it didnt do much for my other guns sound wise so i never considered it as i have a full stainless freak kit

I dont know, they looked to be shooting stock components. I didnt have a luxe at the time so i didnt ask. The quietest ones ive heard were 1.0's tho.

I can't tell a difference between my 1.5 sound and a 1.0 or 2 at stock setups

Maybe just super broken in. I enjoy the spitting luxe sound also. Perhaps just a difference between FT in/out?

My 1.0 is a lot quieter than my 2.0. Though my 1.0 is #53 and has around 6 million shoots through here.
