GOG Enemy

What do you think about this one as a rental marker?
Will it have a decent fire rate with a Proto Primo hopper?
Maintenance?
The price is almost the same as the Tippmann FT-12, how do you think that they will compare to each other (fire power, reliability and so on)?

With a Proto Primo hopper I'm guessing that it should work pretty well.

The maintenance should be MUCH more simple than even a Tippmann FT-12 seeing as you just have to degas it, pull the internals, run a swab through, then screw them back in.

Personally, I'm hoping the field that I work at switches the primary fleet from ER3s to eNMEys.

I am wondering the same thing.
I took the Enemy class at World Cup and got one of them,
I am about to buy 75 guns for my field and I am torn between the ft-12 and the Enemy. The pricing difference is about $18 increase to go with the Enemy.

Do you need tools to pull out the internals? Do you need to degas it to pull out the internals?

Degas yes , but the internals can be removed out the back. Also the ENEMY price for rental markers will be lower then the ones for the store.

We have twenty of the FT-12s and they are not what I hoped they would be. I have not tried the Enemy as yet but I will soon. My opinion is you should test out the Enemy before you buy the Tippmanns.

It is an extra moment to unscrew the tank to degas for a rental. Hopefully the "antichop" bolt will prevent the need.

Do you know it a tool is needed to get the internals out?

What is it with the FT-12 that you don't like?

1. It definitely has to be de-gassed before you open it. That's not a major problem but there are others that you don't have to de-gas.

2. We have had two instances where the gun came apart when a customer fell while he was using it. They were both adults.

3. The front grip came off three times.

4. I'm not sure these will work as well as 98s in the winter.

The good news is they are not quite as heavy as a 98, are somewhat smaller and they look cool as hell. The kids love them.

That is completely wrong.

A store/field owner pays the same for an eNMEy for rental as they do for retail. You don't pay more when you buy wholesale for rental use as opposed to wholesale for retail use otherwise field owners would buy a bunch of eNMEys under rental use then just sell them on the retail shelves so companies don't sell them at different prices.

There are two different versions of the gun;
A retail version and a rental version.

That doesn't sound too good.

Do you know what the difference is? Usually on these kind of products it is just the word Rental on them and then everything else is the same.

We are thinking of Proto Rail or Gog Envy markers for the moment. But if the Enmey is good it would be nice not having to change batteries and worry about the electronics giving up.

But my point is that the pricing (probably) won't be different.

From Empire it's the same price for an uglier product in an ugly cardboard box.
From Tippmann it's the same price for the same packaging except with yellow grips and a rental plate on the side.

Correct

I was at the World Cup and actually have the ENEMY. The marker shoots very well and easy to maintain. GOG is putting out a plain version of the ENEMY for rental sale the marker will be less money then the one that will be sold as retail.

Would you say that it could be used instead of an Electronic marker? Like the gog envy or proto rail. Maybe not as fast but almost? I am of course talking about rental use. I do not like to change batteries and I don not like to worry about Rain and electronics.

I would definitely go with the enemy. Maintenance is as simple as using a big allen key to remove the bolt out the back. They also come with lifetime warranties. I watched a shooting video and the gun appeared the shoot very smoothly and somewhat fast.

This whole time I thought this post was some idiot who didn't know that it was an Envy, now I realize I am the idiot. I am picking one of these up to run through its paces. Enmey looks like a fun shoot.

I took the tech class, and implore you all you all to give it a shot. Simple bolt out back with one allen key to remove the entire drive train. We were told to service the internals every 30,000 - 50,000+ shots. If they get dirty, dunk em in a bucket, sandy, blow em out with a compressor.

I really do think GOG has a winner with these, the trigger is light enough that customers wont feel as out gunned when playing with traditional electros(eNMEy has a 1lb trigger pull, Tippmann is about 6 - 7lb). No batteries to swap, rental version will be a stronger glass reinforced nylon material, similar to the grip frame.

If any field owners need one to try out I could probably send my personal one out as a demo. I dont work with GoG in any capacity, but I really think this is a better option than any STTBB/Tippmann.

For guys purchasing their first markers, this is fully upgrade-able to electronic with a Black heart board and Double trigger frame they provide, so the marker grows with the customer, and is already milled for eyes. Full release is about a month or two, but until then I'll be shooting the hell out of this thing.

I really like the idea of the trigger pull being adjustable. This way, if you don't want a hair trigger or don't want your customers to have hair triggers, as in my case, it's an easy adjustment. I'm definitely going to be looking into these when they become available.
