Rubber cleats grip to bedlam's asphalt better than gym shoes imo

Nike Makes some great lightweight army boots. they will run about 120, but are the best boots. light, durable, and easy to run in.

I bring a pair of light "sneaker" shoes with the gum sole for pump night. I switch to cleats for the main games, the back to the sneaks for final battle.

No slips in 3 years.

I'll rock my favorite pair of paintball footwear I own, my Adidas GSG 9.2's.

Imagine the lightweight feel of a trail runner with the high ankle support of a combat boot. They are awesome, like pillowso n my feet even after dozens of hours of heavy use in thick brush, mud, turf fields, you name it.

THey are worth the 150 bucks you pay for them. I have had my own a whole season where I have played at least once every weekend for a good 8 months, and they still are like new. Just hose off the mud and paint and you are ready to rock.

I wore toe shoes last year for a bit, until I shot myself in the toe. Hurt like a son of a gun. cleats are nice for non-bedlam areas, but are terrible on the slick paint -covered concrete.

Keep in mind any short cleat you bring (track shoes, for instance) will get eaten up on the concrete.
