Will guys looks like we worked our *** off took 1st in two events (got 4th and didn't get to play in the finals) in one event that's a first lol, had one bad event. And just happen to get 3rd overall by way of adding two times the points for the last event. Thats a first for me. We will need to start looking around to see what to play in 2013. Hope we can get in some place that dose not make changes mid way out.
But on the up side we took this year and put it all out there had some fun shoot some paint.
Now we need to see if cup will happen. We need to talk it over Sunday.

we had a good run this year and we put our hearts and minds on the line. hopefully we get into a good league next year and go through the winter and practice like never before. i want to work so hard every practice that when i get home i am hurting so bad i cant move. i want AXIS to dominate the league we are going into next year and i want a solid team for the 2013 PSP World Cup. i hope everyone else feels the same way and see you guys at the field Sunday.

No one needs to get involved in the past few comments made on the thread. As a Team you need to focus on skills and improving those skills and think on what you as a player can do to make a difference on the Team. All the other stuff is just stuff and will settle itself. There is nothing that you can go back and change that happened at the last tournament. Everyone did okay but you just were not on your game for some reason? There are winners and loser in life in everything we do and unfortunately the Team wasn't on the winning end at the last event. You had a good season and a good run at the MILP D5 Championship and came in 3rd overall and will probably end up in the top 10 in PSP 2012 Rankings going in to Cup. Not where each of you wanted to be but not bad in my opinion.

I think everone has something they could focus on to improve their skills to the next level such as getting back to the basics, going through drills, getting in some cardio, going full on in practice regardless of the paint used, work on lanes, work on talking, making practice last 1 or 2 hours of hard practice and not dragging it out all day.

Just my thoughts you can agree or disagree but just what I see from the outside looking in. Think during the week about the question Bill left you with in Chattanooga and give a good well thought response. Next year in D4 is going to be much different than playing D5.

Everyone should also think of how hungry they are to want to do well and "totally commit" to the success of the Team/MTP/Sponsors in 2013. In saying "total commitment" I am talking making every event unless something major comes up,(not going to a birthday party, going swimming, going shopping, going to the county fair, spending the day with a girlfriend, or whatever else falls in this catergory none of which are major events) making practice on time, leaving it all on the field everytime you play, helping others not at your level improve, helping Bill all the time, promoting the sport and MTP and sponsors, being at the field to ref. when needed not just when it is convenient or something is not going on. In my opinion if you can't put forth the "total committment" to be ALL INthen there is no need in wasting a lot of time of others and Bill and a TEAM that is depending on you.

Again, these are all my thoughts just looking in from the outside of what I see.

I have paid the entry fee for 2 3-man teams to go 2 weeks from today. We talked about this a bit yesterday for those who were able to make it to the field. For those who weren't able to make it a) you missed Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough (she actually played) and b) we have a rough lineup for the 2 teams -- 6 players total. Right now, I know of 4 going for sure, one alternate and one very interested. Please post here if you are interested. Haven't heard from Andrew, Oneil, Jerod or others that we hoped would be at the field yesterday.

Yep. You are one of the 4 mentioned above. I want to hear from Jerod on the D4 team first since he didn't get to play much this Summer. Tony is going to call him soon. Howard is the alternate if we don't have all 6 slots filled. T is on the list too for the D5 team if a position is open and should start working on his APPA number if he doesn't have one already.
Asylum Shockwave is interested and could be playing. They will be tough competition so get ready!

It's the 21st and Jerod is in. We now have 5 confirmed players. Spencer, Caleb, Cory, Jerod and Tony. Teryn (Cory's friend better known as just "T") is interested in the last spot if the regular team members don't want to go. Tony and Bill will figure out the teams then we need to schedule a practice with those lineups before the event.
