ok so im upgrading tomorrow hopefully and im going for the S3 my sis will upgrading also. But her budget is 100$ and the best phones for that price are the S2 or Nexus. so should she get the s2 or nexus?

nexus should be cheap, then again the SGS3 does have the 2gigs of RAM. go in Sprint and try them both out. make sure you reboot them before testing...

gs3 16gb on verizon is 99 bucks on amazon. not sure if that deal is still going on but was last night

i personally would get the galaxy nexus and unlock bootloader and root it. and then install official jellybean rom or CM10 nightly. then profit.

sprint has a good trade in program too. my buddy got i think $60 for an EVO that was submerged in coke for 5 minutes when he upgraded to the S3.

but yeah nexus > S2. she might like the S2 more upfront because of the camera and the screen seems bigger cuz its wider..but in a few months youll probably hear a complaint about being on outdated android

the "always on" charging LED on the newest AOKP is annoying as ****. just a bright orange light constantly on when its plugged in. why not make it flash every 15mins or something? it obviously takes a while to charge
