Denzel Washington- black lab and boxer mix, he was born during Katrina and we rescued him as a very young puppy about a month after.



Seamus- black lab and boarder collie mix, he is seven. We rescued him about five years ago now. He never sits still so I don't have a good photo of him, I'll have to work on that when I'm home next.

I think I know what kind of dog to look for next time, that's a really awesome mix. I wonder what a chocolate lab/boxer mix would look like.

He came with it and it was just so awesome we didn't have the heart to change it. Thank you, we've always adopted- it's much cheaper than from a breeder and they aren't (usually) inbred.

I've never met a mix like him before, but it works great- all the energy and build of a boxer mixed with the loyalty and mild manner with people (especially kids) of a lab.

My first dog I ever had I don't remember too much. All I know is 21 years ago we had a malamute and an alaskan huskey. They loved to eat the heads off my batman toys when I was like 2-4. Still don't know what happened to them. My dad was a pretty abusive drunk and I think he had something to do with it but to this day I still have no idea.

Parents went through divorce and we got a new house. I was kinda depressed with everything going on and I was about 8 or so at the time. My mom told me she was going to the bank and she will be right back. She called the house about an hour later and told me to come open the front door. I opened it and my mom bought me a dog named Patty. She was a 100% pure beagle. God I loved that dog so much. She was never a house dog and we had to literally drag her into the house she was so scared. She loved watching TV though. There was only 1 spot on the couch where she would sit. She made one hell of a dip in that couch from YEARS of sitting in the same spot haha. She followed me everywhere and slept everywhere I did. In 2009 she started having seizers a lot and we took her to the vet to find out she is too old to undergo treatment and there was nothing really we could do. About 6 months later she had a really bad seizer and I drove as fast as I could to the vet only for her to die in my arms on the way there. I just got off of working 12 hours to my dog passing. She was my best friend. I deleted all of her pictures because she meant so much to me and I couldn't bear to have her running through my mind anymore. Still remember her from time to time.

While I had Patty, she was getting up there in age, about 10-12 ish and we decided to get another dog. I loved beagles and wanted another. Went to the adoption center and found a few that I liked but one stood out. Her name was Katy. Boy was she a firecracker. She would not stop running around the pin for anything. She loves attention. She would run so much she would pee about every 10 minutes haha. She was so small too she would try and attack my face haha. We ended up getting her about a year to a year and a half old. Patty now had a friend. Katy was too wild though, she ended up running into the walls a lot, chairs, cabinets. I don't think she has ever been on REAL tile floors because she would slide all across the house the run into the wall. She's a nut. Patty never let her eat either. She was real protective and didn't like katy around because she wanted all the attention. I loved them both equally. I'm not sure how old she is right now but I'll know by tomorrow. She always cocks her legs all weird and has the goofiest boniest butt you have ever seen haha. She's cute though. Recently started barking at me because she always wants attention.

Thats my dog storys. Pics tomorrow. My dogs don't really like toys for some reason. We have an abundance of toys all around the house but none of them ever played with toys. Katy sure does love bones and plastic dish ware, but thats about it. Any idea why?
