Alright. I have an 07 ego. Shoots amazing, I love the thing. One of my favorite markers and now serves as my primary. I have only one complaint with it. I have HUGE hands. I have noticed with my buddy's 09 ego and the Geo that they fit better and more comfortably and I like the overall look better.

This is probably a huge noob question but would it be possible to take an 09 frame and put it on my 07. I would keep the same board, bolt, that stuff. But could I make it so that I could at least have the 09 trigger guard set-up?

Not without a WHOLE lot of modifications. It would probably be cheaper to sell your '07 & buy a Ego9 or Geo.

im pretty sure the only ones that are interchangeable are 9 and 10s

You could take off your buddies and your 07 frame and see if it would be feasie to build a shim of sorts...the frame screws probably don't line up so you might have to drill a new one, but other then that finding plastic to dremel or cut to make the frame and body match up might not be to far fetched! Otherwise the frame alone is probably $70-$100 and an ego 9 or geo will probably only run about $350...so you might be better off going that route like some have already mentioned...but figuring stuff out like that and seeing peoples faces when you show up with a customized gun is always pretty cool!
