if the chip area is smooth there is no concern

if you feel the fibers or see a strand of fibers sticking out then you have damage that needs to be checked by a hydro tester.

This isn't exactly a tech question, but is there any chance at a pink 68sl?

Every piece of my girlfriend's equipment is pink except for tank because a 77sl is a little too long for her.

If all that's stopping you is one more committed buyer, I'm here

chips are usually caused by hitting something and not covered by the warranty

any paintball lube will work but do not overdo it and a little goes a long way

not recommended and use a pro reg set at 450 is the best option

Ninja SL2 Threading - safety concern

Question for you gurus! I attempted to remove the shims today from my Ninja SL2 68 tank, to decrease the output pressure...and we noticed that the threading on the Pro Body Regulator (part #14) appear to be messed up.
Not sure how this happened, can the threading be fixed? Is it safe to put the bonnet back on and gas up? I'm concerned,

Thanks so much

nate,

that is not the thread but the clip that holds the collar in place and we do not recommend you use this reg any longer.

the clip can be dislodged when the reg is rotated under pressure. once it is out of place you may not be able to save the reg due to the damage to that area and the clip may not hold.
