Greg Siewers Leaves Infamous For Impact

Greg Siewers, one of Los Angeles Infamous’ best players, has made the decision to take his talents to Canada, and play for Edmonton Impact.

Infamous Coach Todd Martinez was informed by Siewers, via text message, earlier today about his departure from the team.

Impact has made a big push in the offseason to acquire new talent as they lobbied hard to get Dalton Vanderbyl and Alex “Mouse” Goldman, both of which fell through at the last moment. They were able to sign All-star Justin Rabackoff and now can add one of the league’s best D-side players with the addition of Siewers. With these roster moves, Impact is looking like a contender for Houston Heat’s title.

PBA will have more details to follow. Stay tuned.

Greg always seems like a hired gun, but he is a great pickup for Impact. Infamous has a lot of great players so they should be OK without him.

With all the team switching and such going on, are there any teams besides Vicious and Thunder that have not been affected? I'm having a hard time remembering right now...

Heat hasn't had any switches that have been announced, Aftershock, and I don't believe CEP has done anything either at this point.

True but I thought he meshed really well with Infamous and would retire with them. Doesn't matter nothing will surprise me this off season

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
