Selling an upgraded bolt kit for a gun is Bob Longs idea? What?
As long as there have been paintball guns there have been people making and selling upgrade parts for them. Certainly not something anyone in particular had a monopoly on before the IVCore kit came along. In fact we've been making upgrade bolt and internal parts for guns going all the way back to the original autococker. Please. No need to add any kind of confrontation to this.
And to Outcast Kid, I pronounce it Ivy Core  |

No...but it isn't just a new bolt. It's a new engine. The autococker equivalent would be a new bolt, new valve, new ram and new hammer. Just putting a new bolt into an autococker does not really change how the gun feels and shoots.
It is an upgrade of all of the guns mechanical internals not related to regulators. |

So it is just efficiency gains? Or will the shot quality (smoothness) also be affected?
Either way I'm planning on upgrading from my 2.1 even though the 4Core (see what I did there?) will fit in it.

It's supposed to make the Geo 3 shoot like a GSL. I can't speak about smooth the GSL is compared to the Geo 3 though
