So my local field is The Jungle and I am over this field. So I thought this Saturday I would swing down and check out SCP. I just had a couple of questions. How are the games ran are they walk on or do they divide people into teams and you just stick with them all day? Second how is the atmosphere are the refs and players pretty cool? If there are any ballers that frequent that place could help me out I would appreicate it.

Well to start off the have three different levels Rentals, intermediate, and advanced. On saturdays the scp isnt super busy with tournament ballers and teams. But there is a fair amount of people. They usually just divide up the players on saturdays every game or round. Sundays they have tournament style scrimms where you need a 7 man team to play. And usually it is pretty bust with tournament teams. But they also run intermediate rentals and other groups on the other fields. the refs and people there are all pretty cool, nice and helpful.

refs are cool but one sun. i got hion my hopper of break and didnt notice and ref litteraly pulls me out and i get bonused balled like 8 times and he looks a t me and sais you got to know when ur out, you got like ten hits on you and im like :l

Teams are divided up every game, and theres always enough players. Refs are fair and the fields are decent. You will be VERY happy being that your used to the Jungle.. I cant stand that place.

had a good time there last weekend, 90.00 for 3 self equiped player, not sure how much for their paint I had my own. the gut truck was way over priced. 2.50 for a cup-o-noodles, but it is 50000000000000 times better then the jungle and the cheating *** hornets. why didnt you just go next door to sherwood?

Yeah i love SCP, and i don't think any other place i've been at is as cooler cept bear creek. maybe i can see you paintball there since i live super close.

ill hopefullly be their sunday, if you play on the advanced feild it really isn't that bad as fas as the team numbers go, but intermidate is horriable

If you can get 7 guys on Sunday you can scrim teams, which today was set up very well. Great rotation, and the team up to play next reffed along with 2 other refs. Otherwise just jump in advanced walk on.

We have been to sherwood a couple of times but I buy my paint from Darren's so with a paint pass its cheaper to play there. Well thanks guys I think my brothers and I will be down there on Saturday. Look for me maybe we can get a game on. I will have a purple and black ego with white empire vents on.

Years ago I went to the Jungle... it was horrible... and the Hornets thing was no bueno... the only redeeming factor was that Ollie Lang was there playing that day! lol

.... so im coming down from washington and was wondering if i'll be able to jump on the advanced field... would a d3 nppl player do well on the advanced or would i go to intermidiate?

you just walk on no need for groups. but don't fricking go play with intermediates.(unless you don't wanna waste paint) they shoot you from behind... n00bs =*(

i was a reff at SCP. you'll like it. if you ever have a problem, go talk to Thomas, he's the guy driving the green golf cart thing around all day.
if you rent, then you can play any level you want. beginner, intermediate, or advanced. if you'd self-equipped then you can only play intermediate or advanced.
there are 4 airball fields, 2 of which are nice, the other two have shorter bunkers that make it hard for a 6'3" player, or bunkers that leak, or are just old. the nicer fields are the xpsl field and the proto field. they fill both 3000 and 4500 fills, chrono in at ~270fps.
games are pretty quick, sometimes they drag on. we split the teams up pretty much every game, and we always count numbers to make sure the teams are fairly even. we try to split up an even amount of really good players and newer players on each team, but sometimes one team will just completely rape another.



and i'm also a hornet. only for the sheer fact its fun to just walk around in the woods and completely rape all the non-hornets. i dont wear the hornet shirt ever except in that game. and i dont see cheating going on, if people do it they are pretty sly about it. maybe you see people obviously playing on, but i guess i dont noticie it since i'm watching my own ***. i usually go off and do my own thing and stalk the other players and pick them off that way. its more fun.
