The settings are adjustable for paint not the marker... imo anyway. I shot eveything through mine... found out, woth stock settings, i blended most tourney grade paint, adjusted a few things and now i haven't broken anything

Has anyone noticed a new setting/adjustment that comes after the RF? The default is 3, but I have no idea what the setting is. That makes the stock settings now...4,5,2,2,3. What is the last setting? Please help.

Better than the NASA control panel the LTD had, I just wish the would have put this in the manual instead of it being an "Easter Egg".

Interesting, good to know for the future. Might copy the instructions and default settings and make it as a PDF so I can keep it on my phone.

One reason why I liked Empire for the digital manuals, but kinda a pain when you can't get to your phone or need to get to your phone in a rush but your hands are all muddy.

Run a diagnostic and autotune by holding down both rubber button and turning it on. Then release the buttons.

I know this is an old thread but did some testing just to see how the speeds compared for BPS. Default setting is 4 out of 6, I did some barely scientific testing on averaging out emptying a hopper and this is what I found:

Speed 1 - 24 BPS
Speed 2 - 25 BPS
Speed 3 - 23.27 BPS
Speed 4 - 25.78 BPS

So they are all pretty close, if anything is seemed like the lower speed settings just engaged a bit slower than the default speed. I've been running speed 3 without problem and no breaks so I'm good there. If brittle paint is a problem, then maybe speed 1-2 could be worth trying.

When it is at lower speeds you are probably going to have a less forceful start and stop cycle of the feed mechanism. At higher speeds more violent and hard starting. I think once it is spinning it isn't making much difference.

I had a couple broken balls of Evil in the feedback today. I am using the Z2 on a custom autococker. I had it set to speed 3. A few games it would work fine. Then a few times I turned it on and the second shot was smashed in the feed neck. When I got home I tried speed 1 and 2. They both shot a full loader with no issues. The gun did seem to be shooting ever so slightly slower. I set it to speed 3 and sure enough it smashed a ball in the feed neck.

I then pulled out a very old Empire Halo B that was set to speed 1. It shot two full pods perfectly and BPS seemed to be spot on.

What speed are most people using for 10.2 ramp? Is it possible that speed 3 is smashing Evil?

hey guy's, just got the Z2, was checking the settings, I have green at 4, orange at 5, red at 2, blue at 2, teal at 3. funny thing is what is that last setting for? cant find info on it.
