the hammer plate on my omen broke and it will now only shoot once and will not recock. anyone have any ideas on how to make a hammerplate or a way of making it recock automaticaly without the hammerplate. thanks in advance
unfortunately there's not alot of support left for these guns, you might be able to make one out of another piece of metal.

You're talking about the black metal plate that is screwed onto the hammer right. Just an FYI you want to put red loctite on the screw that holds that on and hand tighten it with an allen key. Over tightening the screw will put stress on the plate and cause it to break again.

I also had this happen back when evil was still a company and honored its lifetime warrenty. Evil had the best customer service back then. If anything broke they would give you free parts free shipping. If you break a hammer plate nowadays, good luck finding someone who can make you a replacement.
I think this usually happens when you remove the plate from the hammer and reinstall it improperly. This happened to me after beta testing titanium hammers for an aftermarket company. I know evil recomended reinstalling hammer plates with red locktite and not overtightening the screw that holds it on. breaking hammer tips was also a problem on the pre 2.0 omens i think too high of recock pressure caused that.
On a side note i have never had a problem with a 2.0 omen besides rotted out old o-rings. I still use my evil pipe barell kit on every gun i play with IMO its the best barrel ever made.
LOL sorry for the rant but i still love evil products and wish the company was still around
