I can't seem to get ahold of the guy to find out how many teams are signed up yet. Are you guys going to stay at the Amerihost Inn? There is a special Paintball rate of $45.00 a night (mention the paintball tourney) and that is for a double room plus i guess they are having like a waffle or pancake breakfast in the morning. Their # is 217-253-3500........call about a week before to make reservations.......the Inn is about 14 miles north of level X.........
i'm calling the (309) #........actually the guy called me back last night, so i got everything set.......he wont say how many teams have entered yet, but he did say that there were still openings........so i don't know how good of a turn out there is going to be.........i'm just up there for the fun anyways..........does anyone else know how many teams are signed up yet???????????
i used to go play there all the time. I know personally that a few tourneys they had in the past had been cancelled because not enough interest. I hope you guys get to play. If i still lived there i would definately be there.. Good luck to all!
Well, i had talked to the promoter and he said they had about 12 to 15 teams so far...the tourney was still gonna happen...so I really do hope they aren't pulling my leg and cancel it at the last minute, cuz that would really suck...
I think so, its like 14 miles north of villa grove. I also spoke to the guy lastnight holding the event and he said that they will have the tourney no matter what, so there will be no cancelling. He also said that it could finish around 6:00pm or earlier. It is based on a point system and he said each team would play around 6 games, so there is no elimination.
look for us at the hotel, we'll be leaving St. louis around 5:30-6:00pm on 1/16/04 and will probably get there around 8:30-9:00pm, it'd be cool to hang out. just ask for the Xtreme Misfits.
