In all honesty, I just buy the cheapest ones I can find. You are going to trash them with paint and mud anyway so its not worth buying an expensive pair. I go through cleats about as fast as I got through paint.

I was once ridiculed by a friend for not having "the right cleats" since everyone was wearing soccer cleats. IMO it makes no difference which type of sport cleats you have. The only difference you will feel is price, and whether it is a metal, rubber or plastic cleat.

Nike landsharks. They come in Low/Mid

I personally have low because I have strong ankles, they are really nice, vent off water really easily for woodsball to.

I use a pair of $30 puma soccer cleats. I like soccer cleats because high top cleats provide too much support and makes it uncomfortable when I'm really tucked into a bunker.

I use a pair of high softball cleats. I like them because they have removable cleats so if they dull down i can take them off and replace them. I also like the high ones so I can avoid rolling my ankle.

I went out this weekend for the first time switching from hiking shoes to the nike landsharks. I got the landsharks because they were the cheapest around. I paid around $30. They worked phenomenally, and the 3/4 rise helped protect my ankle i rolled pretty bad a few weeks back. Also, the nike landsharks are the only cleats I've found around that come in a wide size. As a bigger guy, wide shoes are a godsend! I was expecting to have my feet killing me at the end of the day without them being broken in yet, but They were very comfortable.

I highly recommend these cleats. I wasn't able to play any air ball today but they did great is some woods ball games. I didn't break them in at all, just out of the box and onto the field and they felt way better then the hiking shoes i was wearing before. I may try a sports insert though.

This guy is bringing back some good topics.^^ I use a pair of football cleats that i got for maybe $15 from Ross. They work great except for when i'm on top of a wooden surface, they tend to slide around a bit then.
