If you're going to give gear, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give stuff that's easy to sell. Give JT teams, NXe packs, etc. Speaking from experience, the Angel gear and Redz packs from last season are HAAAARD to sell for any kind of decent money. If a team's good enough to win an event like EXP, they probably already have all the pants, jerseys, packs, gloves, etc that they need. I know we did and I still have a pile of stuff I'm trying to sell off.

Giving guns would be a good idea, but again... It's got to be something decent. It doesn't have to be worth a bunch of money, but it needs to be something sellable. I can't remember who won Impulses this season, but I bet they either still have them or had to basically give them away to get rid of them...

Personally, as a player/coach/manager I think paint, entry, and/or cash would be the best prizes.

JT

Yea definitely give guns, but not impulses, and a nice season ending. The better the season ending, the more teams that might attend. Gear Bags, Paint, Maybe as a season ending something like the sponsership last year and free entry to the last nppl. I don't know, I think the problem last year was if you won, you didn't even break even, so it was useless to play. We won impulses, and still have some of them.

Cash and trophies. Ideally, 1st place should cover all their expenses (entry fee, paint, travel), 2nd should cover entry and paint, and 3rd should cover entry.

Good Sportsmanship rewards are always nice.

Guns are nice. However, at this point most of us have a few too many guns we're already trying to sell. It's also hard to distribute 7 prizes to 8 players.

I haven't thought about the year end prizes at this point.

Thanks Jerry, Diane, and Mantis for putting this together for all of us.

We won the Impulses at the 2nd event and we actually got rid of the Impulses before the 3rd event and got a decent amount out of them. But would like to see some better guns like proto's or eteks or just cash is nice.
Whatever you do dont do the coupon cards that sucked. I finally give up on the headbands. Didnt care much for the Hemorage paint that stuff sucked. Hope that helps.

still got stuff youre trying to get rid of?

and i suggest new markers like the etek or something. another good thing to give away is cash. you can always find a use for cash. you could also do entry fee waived.

what state does this tournament usually take place in?

exp

I could care less about the prizes. If you give something away then I agree with paintballmama. Cash and trophies. I don't want to pay money for an event to win something to sell. Now what will get us to play the EXP next year. Very simple. Organization........ Answer question that are asked in a timely manner. Take care of problems when they need to be taken care of. Monitor the web site EVERY DAY. Put effort in the advertising to bring in more teams. So far the only good thing about the EXP events is the reffing. And Jerry, all the things you and I had talked about at world cup about next year is awesome. If this can happen. We will be at all of the events next year.

Thanks
Don

The easyest things that will get the most people to play are
1) cash
2) Entrence to the next torny
3) paint
These things are what every team needs and wants.

cash, paint, free entry.

guns would only be worth it if they were high ends:

shockers, pms, dms, egos, etc. etc.
