We are going to try this again. Now, let me put some rules into place right quick. This is a serious thread, you get stupid in it, no infraction, just a nice pleasent break for you. If you are called out on being incorrect on a subject, grow thick skin trooper!
The topic is firearms, and firearm related equipment. We have the high speed gear thread to cover most everything else. So l think we should post! Will get pics and specs of my toys here in a few.

You can replace parts and make it better. Does the upper have a "key hole" on the back somewhere?
You also never told me what type of bolt carrier you had.

The piston is going to be a pain with the corrosive ammo. Good score though. |

Take a picture of the carrier.
The "keyhole" on the upper is the mark of the forge where the blank was produced. It is not relevant.
Your rifle had an issue that the manufacturer should address. If you bought it new give bushmaster a call and explain your problem.

Meh, It's not so bad really, doesn't take too long to clean. Windex everything on the range, then clean it with hoppes at the house. Truly, from shooting thousands of the commie surplus, it's not that corrosive. The 90's bulgarian stuff I wouldn't even label as corrosive. Now the early 80's Ukranian and Russian will turn the inside orange after 8-10 hours, even then not all that much.

Bruh man. In GA I can find you deals like this all day every day, let me know what you want or how much you want to spend on something, and I'll hook you up. Right now there's an AK-USA AK-74M on a Saiga Reciever in going for 900, a 1500 dollar build. Or XD .45 for 325, barely used. Ammo? We can find that cheap too for your .223. FNP .45? $400, Sig P226? $450.

I will. It's a carbon AR so it wasn't forged lol. I'll definitely call Bushmaster though. What are the laws for shipping weapons? You can't ship them, can you? It has to go to a FFL if I recall correctly. |

You can ship to a place of repair, and they can ship it back. That stuff only applies to buying/selling a gun to an non FFL. |
